We moved here on the 16th June 1980 and since then the garden has undergone many changes, and is still very much experiment and "work in progress"! The latest phase is the recent construction (finished April this year) - of an enclosed patio in the back garden on the site of a large old laurel. The next projects are the continuing enlargement of the borders in the front garden and the creation of a path with entrance archway to border the garage behind the forsythia on the side garden. The cherry tree and the birches on the side garden were here when we moved in, but all the rest of the trees and shrubs have been planted by us over the years. We are also planning to replace the majority of the shrubs behind the low fence at the end of the back garden with fruit bushes. Photos of how the garden has evolved over 30 years will be on display.
Disabled access limited due to steps, some uneven paving and narrow paths and doorways. Dogs on leads welcome.
